The Gath Surf Convertible Helmet is based off the original Gath Pro Surf Helmet, but with the addition of removable ears. This accomplishes a couple things. 1st The ears are removable for those who dont like to have their ears covered can take them off, ans also the ear pieces are more flexible than the original full shell design so it can fit people with wider jaw lines more easily which makes fitting the helmet easier.
